Reviews
Super nice folks running this restaurant. Came in with a large group, and all the tables were taken. The owner asked a couple to move in order for us to fit, and they did. We all placed our orders, but it took a while for all of us to get our food. The owners kept apologizing due to the kitchen staff being inundated. They were really slammed with customers.
Once we finally got our food; it was hot and delicious! I had a shrimp po-boy, which was amazing. The rest of the crew said that their food was really good too. I was concerned about how much the mixed drinks costs, cuz that page doesn't have prices...and now I know why. My small drink was $16, guess I should have asked. Lesson learned.
We'll definitely be back to try some more of their delicious food!
The food was 5 ⭐️ everything just tasted so good. The gumbo could have been a bit more hot temperature wise. The catfish was best fried, also had it blacked but not my fave - the fries were so good! The okra was very well seasoned. We finished off with the sweet cornbread as dessert so good. 😊
LOVED the waitress Cookie. LOVED the food & atmosphere! Wasn’t too loud so we could hold conversations easily. Got the pasta, gumbo, fried catfish, fried green tomatoes, red beans, and Brussels! LOVED every bite. Will definitely be coming back frequently!!!
The alligator I had was excellent! The white Russian daiquiri was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was chill.... but the size of the place is a huge turn-off for me! As the night life comes in, the place gets super tight with seating, and we left before the DJ got there as I could not imagine the seating at that time. I'll be back but early enough not to deal with the crowd. I did hear there is a new spot going in where the old icehouse was, so I look forward to the larger venue and food 😉
It's a nice looking spot & had good service. The place is small, so you might have to wait to be seated or take it to go. It has some good music playing & nice decor. The food came out at a good pace. I suggest you order appetizer because you will be waiting a min.
Food was pretty good for the most part. The customer service was off the charts!!!!!! We really enjoyed our time and need to make another visit soon to try other menu items!!!
Listen to me when I say RUN don't walk to this place!
My first time ever going here, and I wish I could express to everyone reading this how amazing this place is. …
OMG TALKING ABOUT NASTY 🤮🤮🤮💩💩💩💩AND OVERRATED AND OVER CHARGED!!Aint nothing on their menu good. They put stems and everything but the kitchen sink in their (garbage)greens. Macaroni cheese taste like wood. 🪵If I could give them NO STARS. My …
